The work

Ask the owners.
With their permission.

Relevant experience deserves a real conversation. Client financial information deserves privacy.

A useful reference starts with your situation.

Tell us the property type, the work or transaction you are considering, and what matters most to you. We can discuss whether our experience is relevant and connect you with owners who have agreed to speak.

Ask for references

We publish client work only with written permission. We do not publish a client’s purchase price, rental income, or sale proceeds without consent.

For your reference conversation

Four questions worth asking.

  1. Was the scope clear?

Ask how the work was defined and which exclusions were explained before the engagement.

  2. How were changes handled?

Ask what happened when conditions, priorities, or the original scope changed.

  3. How did communication work?

Ask how questions were answered, decisions were recorded, and updates were shared.

  4. Would you work together again?

Ask what the owner would repeat and what they would approach differently.

A relevant reference is more useful than a collection of project photographs without the circumstances behind them.
